Venna Mae Hybarger, age 101, of Mosheim, a housewife, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 5, 2012, at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
Survivors include three children: Wayne E. Hybarger and his wife, Evelyn, and Alma Hybarger all of Mosheim, James “Jimmy” Hybarger of Greeneville; two grandchildren and their spouses: Tammy and Tim Livingston of Mohawk and Tim and Marsha Hybarger of Greeneville; three great-grandchildren: Isaiah Gray, Isaac Hybarger and Adam Hybarger; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James E. Hybarger; parents: Andrew and Alta (Henry) Kesterson; three brothers: Dudley Kesterson, Clarence “Shorty” Kesterson, and her twin, Zenes “Peahead” Kesterson; two sisters: Lucy Pitts and Fannie Self.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Mosheim Chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mosheim Chapel. The Rev. Hal Kirk will officiate. Interment will follow in Mosheim Central Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Joe Kesterson, J. L. Kesterson, Marvin Kesterson, Tim Livingston, Tim Hybarger, and Isaiah Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Isaac Hybarger, Adam Hybarger and Dr. Charles Montgomery.
