Reba Kate Belt, age 81, of the Greystone Community, a housewife, passed away Tuesday morning.
She was a Baptist and her hobbies included: gardening, sewing, quilting, reading, and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters: Bessie Cutshaw and Patricia Shelton; one son: Joe Lynn Hensley; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Harley and Marlene Gunter, Grover and Betty Gunter, Walter and Carolyn Gunter, and Floyd Gunter; one sister: Patsy Arnold; a special son by choice: Thomas Hensley.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Belt; son: Larry Hensley; grandson: David Cutshaw; parents: Manley and Pearley Gunter; two sisters: Betty Jo Martin and Trula Mae Cronk; one brother: Garland Gunter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel with interment to follow in Greystone Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Bowens will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
