Annie June Davis, 75, of Greeneville, a retired employee of Magnavox, died Sunday evening at Greeneville Community Hospital East.
Survivors include four children: Sue Fillers-Charron and husband, David, Rex Davis and Sandra Bowman, Jerry and Phyllis Davis, and Clinton Davis; seven grandchildren: Jessica and Jerry Franklin, William Davis, Tyler Davis, Jeremy Davis, Sylena Davis, Gregory Davis, and Rachel Davis; several great-grandchildren; and her companion, Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Eunice Shelby Davis; parents: S.V. and Hattie Cross Norton; brothers: Jimmy Norton and Furman Norton; sister: Magnalene Valentine.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather at Doughty-Stevens at 10:15 a.m. to go in procession.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Davis, William Davis, Tyler Davis, Gregory Davis, Wesley Norton, and Leighton Bird.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
