Ricky Frederick Everhart, age 59, of Mohawk died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Greeneville Community Hospital East. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He retired from Shelby Williams after 33 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisher, and outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife: Sheila Everhart; daughters: Christy Hensley and Jeff Wines and Casey Galloway all of Mohawk; sons: Jason and Marion Everhart, Curtis and Debbie Carter, and Matt and Casey Grout all of Mohawk; grandchildren: Jeffrey Wines, Blake Hensley, Bentley Hensley, Brooklyn Wines, Baylee Hensley, Bobby and Heaven Jones of NC, Haven Galloway, Peyton Galloway, Bianca Galloway, Ella Hartman, Aidan Carter, Zayn Carter, Liam Peterson, Sable Peterson, Jestin Williams, Pheobe Smith, and Ellie Smith; mother: Louise Everhart; siblings: Virginia and Rocky Tomlinson, Rocky Everhart, Brenda and Douglas McIntosh, Pansy and Don Holmes, Rodney Everhart, Ross and Carrie Everhart, Jennifer and David Esterby, and Peggy and Jeff Sexton; brothers-in-law: Harvey and Blanca Greene of Nashville and Harley and Naomi Greene of Chuckey; several special brothers: Lash Walker, Doug Tippins, Robert Turner, Bubba Shipley, Norman Lawson, Ronald Lawson, and Roger Bowlin; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father: Roscoe Everhart; sisters-in-law: Diane Everhart, Michelle Everhart, and Anita Sue Crews Gore; brother-in-law: Kenneth Dwayne Greene.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Preacher Johnny Ricketts will be officiating. Interment will follow at Phillipi Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Rocky Everhart, Rodney Everhart, Ross Everhart, Adam Everhart, Lash Walker, Guy Smith, and Curtis Carter.
The Everhart family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
