Obituary Bertha Tilda Penley, age 88 of the South Central Community passed away Tuesday, July 11th,2006 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She was a loving housewife and a retired employee of Moody Dunbar Pepper Plant for over 60 years. She was also a member of the Horse Creek Mission Church.The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the employees of Laughlin Healthcare for their loving care and friendship, and to all the friends she made while at Laughlin Healthcare and to Dr. Montgomery for all his loving care and dedication.Mrs. Penley is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law: Carl D. Penley, Reverend Ray and Sharon Penley and Reverend Amos and Susan Penley all of the South Central Community; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Joyce Penley of Chuckey, Tammy Penley of Chuckey, Jill and Steve Renner of Greeneville, Michelle and John Morgan of Chuckey, Reverend Stephen and Debbie Saults of Chuckey, Vanessa and Bill Dearstone of Chuckey, Brooke Penley of Chuckey and Melvin Saults of Greeneville; eight great grandchildren and their spouses: Carla Renner of Greeneville, Dr. Nathaniel and Courtney Renner of Greeneville, Ethan Morgan of Chuckey, Issac Saults of Chuckey, Thomas Paul Dearstone of Chuckey, Angela and Stephen Turbyfield of Chuckey, Holley and Andrew Holt of Chuckey and Ashley Dearstone of Greeneville; six great great grandchildren: Jackson, Bryant and Allie Renner of Greeneville and Drew and Mason Turbyfield of Chuckey and Megan Holt of Chuckey; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Florence Penley and Hallie and Buck Hampton both of Chuckey; several nieces and nephews; special friends: Lee Dunbar of Chuckey of which was like a son, Darrin Dunbar of Chuckey, Howard Painter of Chuckey and Vestal Watts of Greeneville and Lisa Jennings of Greeneville and Timmy Thompson of Chuckey.Mrs. Penley is preceded in death by her husband: Reverend James Penley; mother: Macie Watts Tarlton; father: Dana Holt; one daughter: Frances Saults; one daughter-in-law: Kay Penley; one son-in-law: Hugh Saults; two sisters: Lassie Painter and Mattie Tarlton; one brother-in-law Abe Penley.Funeral services for Mrs. Penley will be Friday, July 14th, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Horse Creek Mission Church. Interment will follow in the Liberty Church Cemetery. The Reverend Amos Penley and Stephen Saults will be officiating.Pallbearers will include: Virgil Lee Dunbar, Melvin Saults, Charlie Baines, Dallas Penley, Timmy Penley, Frank W.
