Brenda Bowman

July 31, 1952 - March 13, 2022

Brenda Bowman, age 69, of Midway passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Greeneville Community Hospital East. Brenda had the biggest heart a person could have and her smile would light up a room. She loved watching the hummingbirds through her living room window and watching and listening to the wind chimes blowing in the wind on her porch. She was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, and friend. Mrs. bowman is survived by her husband of 47 years: Charles Bowman; two sons: Chuck Bowman and Katrina Wampler and Billy Kidwell and Dana Powers; her grandchildren: Sophia and Skylar Bowman and Talon and Macy Kidwell; her brothers and sisters: Pete Kidwell, Jeanie Kidwell Carter, and Mary Anne Kidwell. She is preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Belle Kidwell. The Bowman family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm Saturday in the Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Branson Carter will be officiating. The Bowman family would like to thank the staff of Greeneville Community Hospital East for the care shown to Mrs. Bowman throughout her stay.
