Obituary Emory William McGee, age 72, of Limestone, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Takoma Adventist Hospital. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. McGee was a retired mechanic.The family stated,"He was a loving Father and Grandfather. He enjoyed sitting and talking with his friends, either in person or on the phone. He was a joy and will be missed by all who knew him." He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Angie and Jeffery Dunn of Limestone; two sons: Tony McGee and Andy McGee, both of Limestone; three grandchildren: Kelly Dunn, Joshua Dunn, and Keri McGee; three sisters: Blanche Payne of Jonesborough, Shelby Watson of Panama City, Florida, and Pauline Wycoft of Wichita, KS; two brothers: Johnny McGee of Unicoi and Jim McGee of Limestone.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Joyce McGee; his parents: Burnie and Mamie McGee; one brother: Clarence McGee, and one sister, Kathleen Cox.The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Dwayne Riddle officiating. Interment will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
