Nannie M. Johnson, age 88, of Greeneville passed away early Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her home. Mrs. Johnson was an employee of Southern Electronics and Magnavox. She attended Brown Springs Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She would often be seen sitting on her front porch waving to everyone passing by. She loved watching the Lady Vols, baseball games, and enjoyed sewing. It brought her great joy to cook for all of her family to get together and enjoy; and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her two daughters: Sharon Lowe and Kimberly and Lloyd McCamey of Mosheim; three grandchildren: Philip and Dawn Lowe of Greeneville, Nathan and Aimee Lowe of Jonesborough, and Kassandra and Josh Trentham of Mosheim; five great grandchildren: LeAnne Lowe and Kaylyn Justis of Greeneville, Mason and Carter Lowe of Jonesborough, and Mayleigh Trentham of Mosheim; two great great grandchildren: Myla Thomas and Stanley Valentine of Greeneville; two sisters: Zetta Harmon and Janice and Michael Gaby of Greeneville; three brothers: Jim and Cathy Parker of Kingsport, Steve and Billie Parker of Greeneville, and Wayne and Carmen Parker of White Pine; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Orville Johnson; her parents: Ernest and Virgie Parker; her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Eunice and Mary Johnson; a son-in-law: Wayland Lowe; brothers: Paul, Glen, Ray, and Joe Parker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Guy and Charlene Johnson, Carroll and Barbara Johnson, and Donnie and Brenda Lowery. The Johnson family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Long will be officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Carters Chapel Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home by 9:00 am to go in procession. Pallbearers will include: Philip Lowe, Nathan Lowe, Josh Trentham, Lloyd McCamey, Freddie Parker, and Jackie Hipps.
