Patsy J. Hensley

Patsy J. Hensley, age 71, of Afton died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Greeneville Community Hospital East. Mrs. Hensley retired from Magnavox and then enjoyed her work as a caregiver. She will always be remembered as a very caring person and was loved by many. Mrs. Hensley is survived by her daughter: Kelly Hensley and Jesse Bowman; three brothers: Lynn Idell, Johnny and Faye Idell, and David and Teresa Idell; special nieces: Karen Hawley, Lana Brown, and Starr McKinney; several nieces and nephews; a special friend: Ben Thompson. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert M. Hensley; her parents: Orlan and Pauline Idell; a sister: Janice Idell; and a brother: Gene Idell. Funeral services for Mrs. Hensley will be 12:00 pm Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Malone will be officiating. Interment will follow at Doty’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will include her family and friends. The Hensley family will receive friends from 3:00 – 5:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.Read Obituary
