Patsy Jean Tilson

Obituary Patsy Jean Tilson, age 70 of Mosheim, passed away Monday evening at Wellmont-Holston Valley Hospital.She was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by all and stayed in contact with her many friends and neighbors.She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Howard Tilson; one son, Jeffery Tilson of Mosheim; one grandson, Sammy Joe Tilson; one great-granddaughter, Samantha Grace Tilson; special first cousin: Sarah Sparks of Mosheim; cousins: Bob Keasling and Anna Lou Ridley; special friends: Barbara Fry, Betty Beach, Susie Dreger, Jane Jones, Doak Ramsey, Alice Dobson, Malva Lynn Harris of Oklahoma, Karen Laouey of Texas, Margie Barnes, Howard and Doris Pierce, Hadley and Shirley Carter, and Pat Cobble.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arby and Ruby Craft and father and mother-in-law: Raymond and Dorothy Tilson.The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Mosheim.
