Obituary Ray Allen Martin, 60 of Kennesaw, Ga. Died unexpectedly on Monday, May 22, 2006. His five grandchildren adored "Pops" and he treasured every minute he spent with them. He enjoyed photography, woodworking and spending time at the lake. Ray lived a remarkable life full of generosity, kindness, humor and never ending care and service to his family. His laugh would fill the most wide-open space and warm your heart.Born in Greeneville, TN, Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Audrey Martin. He lived in the Atlanta area for the last 38 years, and was a manufacturer's representative for the N.A. Williams Company.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Billie Jane (Burrow) Martin, daughter Christie Putnamand grandsons, Will, Walt and Wes; son and daughter-in-law Craig and Hope Martin and grand-daughters Savannah and Grace; brother Jim Martin of Houston, TX; sister Jane Martin Tauscher of Ft. Worth, TX; four nephews; mother-in-law Addie Burrow; an uncle, Troy Kilday of Greeneville, TN; an aunt, Ina Martin of Kingsport, TN; and several cousins.Following services in Atlanta, a graveside service will be held at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greeneville, TN on Friday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Rev. Julian Walton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 N.
