Robert "Chop" Lamb Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert M. “Chop” Lamb, age 68, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at his home surrounded by his family. “Chop” or Bob as he was known by his friends and family was the owner of Tusculum Body Shop for 39 years. He loved his work and helping people and he especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle as long as his health permitted. He also loved spending time with his two granddaughters whom he adored and his two dogs, Molly and Harley. Survivors include his wife: Teresa Lamb; one son and daughter-in-law: Robbie and Karla Lamb; two granddaughters: Chloe and Rylie Lamb; one sister: Betty Tunnell; two brothers and one sister-in-law: John and Tashia Lamb and Larry Lamb; his father and step-mother: Clifford and Joyce Lamb; three nephews: Steven Tunnell, Jarod Lamb, and Todd Lamb; one niece: Laura Lamb; as well as several aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother: Maacal Lamb. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. The Rev. Mike Sauls will officiate. Entombment will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Chimes Mausoleum at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens at 12:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jarod Lamb, Jim Gillen, Darrell Brackens, Jacob Chambless, Eric Kiker, and Jackie Nanney. Honorary pallbearers will be George Lamons, Robbie Arrington, David White, Jeff Craft, and Dennis Chapman.
