Obituary Roger H. Carder, age 57 Midway, passed away Friday afternoon at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.Mr. Carder was a member of McMillian Freewill Baptist Church.Mr. Carder fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and had a special love for his brothers and sisters. His love for the Lord and the church was tremendous. Roger and his wife, Linda, shared almost 39 wonderful years of marriage.He is survived by his wife, Linda Carder; his children: Roger Carter and wife Sabrina of Eustis, FL, Allen Carder of Midway, and Frank Carder of Mohawk; a daughter and her husband, Tina and John Lamm of Tavares, FL; his grandchildren: Josh Digivone, Noah Digivone, Kimberly Carder, Ryan Carder, Brandon Carter, Paige Carder and Lindsey Carder, all of Florida, and Brandon Carder and Blake Carder of Mosheim; his brothers and their spouses: Sam and Linda Carter of Mosheim, Johnny and Norma Carter of Morristown, Mike Carder of Johnson City, Cindy Carder and Lori Carder of Johnson City, Patricia Tallent of GA, Mary and Earnest Byrd of Cleremont, FL., Chris Lewis of Newport, and Kay Dietz of FL; his step-mother: Georgia Carder of Johnson City; his special friends: Phillip Hutchison and Charlie Ramsey; sister and brother-in-law: Brenda and Jerry Marshall and Patricia Cole of Johnson City, Lester and Carrie Whitson of Jonesborough, and Alfred Whitson of Johnson City; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law: Norma Jean and Robert Neal of Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Hartsell Carder, Jr. of Johnson City, his mother, Louise Price of Morristown, one brother, Bobby Pitts; grandmother, Eva Mae Roberts; grandfather, Frank Luttrell; and one grandchild, Frank Carder, Jr.The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Doughty-Stevens Mosheim Chapel. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at McMillian F.W.B. Church, with Rev. Chris Howell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Pallbearers will be Loyd Golden, Rodney Hogan, Teddy Hogan, Stacy Carter, Jack Sester, and Richard Newman.Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Phillip Smith, Dr. A.K.
