Sidney Allan Hubbard, age 87, of Greeneville died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army. His family will remember him as a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.He is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth and Charles Burgess; a son: Alan and Christine Hubbard; two granddaughters: Sasha and Jimmy Dunlap and Asia Lewis; a grandson: AJay Hubbard; nine great grandchildren: a brother: A. Leon Hubbard; special caregivers: Ann Kirtzo and Janice Wise; his special friends and caregivers at Morning Pointe including: Madison Cole and Morgan Brown.He is preceded in death by his wife: Blanch Hubbard; his parents: Ervin and Lois Hubbard; a sister: Zelma Smith; and a brother: Wilburn Hubbard.The Hubbard family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Monday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. I love my Uncle Sid! Every first visit with the kids as babies, he just couldn't wait to hold them. He had that easy, laid back voice. He was so kind to me as an adult. I loved his stories. I just loved him in general. I will keep you all in my prayers.
So sorry for your loss, he was a great neighbor when l was growing up. One memory l have is he could never remember my dad's name. He would always call him something else.
