Timothy Hal “Bubbie” Lane, age 56, of Greeneville, was called home to be with the Lord Jesus and Savior on Tuesday at Greeneville Community Hospital East. He was a 1986 graduate of South Greene High School. He was a former employee of Landair Inc. as a truck driver before he became disabled. He was a loving husband, father, granddaddy, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was always loving and caring to everyone that he met and was so kind hearted. Being a granddaddy was the greatest joy of his life. He will be missed dearly by the loved ones, family, and friends on Earth. He enjoyed talking on his CB radio; his handle was “Cougar” or “Cadillac Man”. Survivors include his loving and caring wife of 33 years: Darla Bucklew Lane; two sons: T.J. Lane, Marcus Lane and Katlyn Kowalski; six grandchildren: Ekiah, Kian, Greyson, Carson, and Haven Lane, and Victoria Moore; one sister: Pam Lane; nieces and nephews: Matt Lane, Josh Bucklew and Natosha Wilson, Nic and Krystal Bucklew, Marco and Dawn Bucklew, Maria and Garret Byrd, and Brandon Yohey; mother-in-law: Eva Bucklew; brother-in-laws: Robert Bucklew, Bart Bucklew and Jamie; special daughter-in-law: Sierra Lane Miller; special friends: Candi Turner, Joan Stover, Major Tunnell, Travis Saulsbury, Jonathan and Miranda Pitts, Becky Miller, Jared Claridy, Richard and Adam from Greeneville Vapor, Chad Cannon and many other friends; several cousins, including a special cousin, who was like a brother: Gary Ricker and Jackie Crawford. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hal and Linda Lane; brother: Chris Lane; grandparents: Roy and Ellen Ricker, Henry and Callie Lane; father-in-law: Robert “Bob” Bucklew; aunt and uncle: Jimmy and Earnestine Parton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel with the Rev. Larrie Pike officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Anthony Fox, Raheem Young, Takeem Young, Matt Lane, Garret Byrd, Jonathan Pitts, Joe Hall, and Anthony Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be friends of Greeneville Vapor, Chad Cannon, and Junior Kelley.
