Obituary

Shirley Ray Mills, age 77, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday from a short illness.

He was born to Quentin and Maudie Mills.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Zollie Shelton Mills; one son and daughter-in-law: C. Ray and Cheryl Mills of Kodak, TN; one sister and brother-in-law: Darlene and Robert Gallagher of Canton, Michigan; several nieces and nephew, great-nieces, and great-nephews; special aunt: Hannah Yeager.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Shelby and Dennis Mills.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 29th, at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens, 4159 Asheville Highway, Greeneville.  Pastor Steve Doyal will officiate. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery and please wear a facial covering and observe social distancing.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Second Harvest.
